Troy W. Cassell
Managing Director
Troy is responsible for the strategic management of Centurion. Troy is hands-on with all facets of the business, with his major roles overseeing the smooth operation of all divisions and ongoing client liaison. Troy holds a Diploma in Security Risk Management, Diploma in Business Management, and a Diploma in Assessment & Training Systems. He has more than a decade’s experience working within the law enforcement and security industries, Through this involvement Troy has developed a sound knowledge of all aspects of providing security staff and consulting services.
Karen Cassell
Chief Financial Officer
Karen is a key advisor to senior management, making a tangible connection between our company’s operations and financial performance. With more than eight years experience in business administration and finance, Karen delivers financial assessments and information to ensure our planning and budgeting activities meet corporate goals. As a partner in the company, Karen holds a keen interest in the profitability and overall performance of all areas of operations. Karen is a licensed security operative holding a certificate II in Security Operations and level II Senior 1st Aid.
Shane Tipa
Operations Manager (ACT)
Shane is responsible for guarding operations, recruitment and human resources. Shane’s strong work ethic helps drive our continuous improvement, delivering excellent results for our clients. Shane has a large network of contacts within the intelligence and security communities. His extensive operational experience includes all areas of security operations with a strong focus on crowd management. Shane is responsible for the smooth delivery of services by more than 100 full-time staff.
Chris Burgess
Electronic Services Manager
Chris holds over 15 years experience in the field of electronic security, his experience relates to the design and implementation of literally thousands of security systems for residential, commercial and Government clients. Put simply there is nothing this guy doesn’t know about electronic security. Academically Chris holds a certificate III in technical access along with a certificate IV in Security Risk Management Chris has also completed a number of other training programs relating specifically to electronic security. Chris holds a wealth of knowledge in the realms of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (C.P.T.E.D.) making Chris is the ideal person to speak to in the initial stages of your next project.
George Lygidakis
Chief Instructor K9 Services
George Lygidakis holds the position of Chief instructor K9 Services, George is reputed as Australia’s leading foremost expert on Training dogs for use in law enforcement. A former Police dog handlerand chief instructor for the now Australian Federal Police Protective Services K9 Unit George has to his credit 20 years dog training experience. An acredited K9 instructor George is responsible for the training & inhouse certification of all man & dog teams prior to operational deployment, George also provides ongoing training and support to all K9 handlers ensuring all teams retain a high level of proficiency.
Peter Archibald MacKinlay
Area Manager (Cooma Snowy Mountains)
Peter is our appointed area manager for the Cooma Snowy Mountains region, Peter brings to our organisation a wealth of knowledge which encompasses all areas of the industry. A mechanical engineer by trade Peter served 10 years in the Merchant Marines and committed 25 years service as the chief engineer to the Cooma Hospital. Peter is a well known and respected figure in the Cooma district, he has a passion for helping and assisting people. Peter is an industry expert in the field of firearms and is a licensed armourer and licensed weapons dealer. Peter is also a licensed dog handler and together with his K9 partner Radar he is committed to ensuring the safety of our client’s premises.
